Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council is reviewing the New Zealand Certificate Financial Services (Level 5) with strands in Financial Advice, Investment, Life and Health Insurance, General Insurance, Residential Property Lending, Personal Lending, Banking, and Trustee Services [ref: 2315].
The review is taking place to ensure the qualification is, and continues to be, useful and relevant to the sector.
The review is conducted using a variety of methods including face to face and/or online meetings, individual interviews (face to face and online), email consultation, focus groups and workshops. We have formed a working group and wider consultation group for the review.
We anticipate publishing drafts of the reviewed qualification for public consultation early 2024.
All those who wish to be informed of the process are sent meeting notes and draft copies of the reviewed qualification and invited to comment. We are happy to add people to our email network at any time.
