The views of industry leaders and professional groups in the business sector are wanted to provide expertise into ensuring the skills learned in vocational qualifications and standards in the profession are fit for purpose.
Input from Iwi and Māori businesses, Pacific businesses, tangata whaikaha, and training providers, is also sought by Ringa Hora as it conducts the required five-yearly review of these qualifications and standards.
The aim is to ensure the skills that vocational trainees are learning in these credentials are relevant to the business sector in Aotearoa.
We will gather information to inform any future development for qualifications, standards, and micro-credentials during this review.

The Business review will include reviewing current unit standards under the following subfields to develop skill standards and any micro-credentials as needed.

The reviews will be conducted using a variety of methods. This may include face to face and/or online meetings, individual interviews (face to face and online), email consultation, focus groups and workshops.
