Ringa Hora has extended its deadline for feedback from industry representatives and providers about whether the Consent and Moderation Requirements (CMR) documents for Service sector industries are fit for purpose.
Each CMR document covers the requirements which Tertiary Education organisations must meet to assess against the specific unit standards, and the moderation process that organisations with consent to assess need to engage in.
There are currently seven CMRs in the Service sector. Ringa Hora’s plan is to have one core CMR for all Service industries, with separate appendices stating specific industry-related requirements.
We want to be sure that the Ringa Hora CMRs:
- accurately reflect Ringa Hora’s quality assurance and moderation requirements
- provide the current and relevant criteria to deliver and assess unit standards and skill standards developed by industry
- are clear and easily understood and easy for providers to follow.
Ringa Hora has drafted the core CMR and sector-specific appendices for all our industries bar aviation, as they will be reviewed under a different process.
The draft documents can be found on this web page, along with a feedback form. We would like to hear any feedback from industry and Tertiary education representatives about these documents, and have extended this deadline to 18 October.
We have also extended the deadline for anyone to send an expression of interest to be part of the review and help shape the CMR requirements moving forward. If you are interested, please email us at [email protected] by 18 October.
