In coming months, Ringa Hora will be inviting training providers and other industry partners to review and provide feedback on a number of areas related to security, which will include the review of qualifications, Consent and Moderation Requirements (CMR) and the on-going train the trainer requirements. In the interim, we have put in place a ruling around one of the requirements included in the CMR. We will also be continuing to provide feedback and support through moderation.

Currently there is a requirement within the Consent and Moderation Requirements (CMR) specific to unit standards 27360 and 27361 that is no longer applicable (due to the transfer of standard setting body responsibilities from Skills Org to Ringa Hora).  Therefore, until such time that a full review of all of Ringa Hora’s CMRs can be undertaken an interim ruling is in place.

During quarter one of 2022 Ringa Hora undertook post-moderation of the Security sector providers. Once a review of the findings is completed, Ringa Hora may look to carry out additional out of sequence moderation activities to support and ensure consistency across all security sector providers.
