Our assessment best practice workshops aimed at helping educators in the way they assess akonga/learners have proved so popular that we’re holding extra workshops this year, including new online offerings.
The online offerings have been welcomed so enthusiastically that we have scheduled a new one. The first two online sessions we scheduled are now fully booked, so we’ve scheduled a third one.
The new session will be on Tuesday, 4 November, at 10am, for which there are plenty of spots available.
Meanwhile, there are still spaces available at five in-person workshops we have scheduled in various locations in October and November. The sixth, at Tauranga, is now fully booked.
The full list of workshops is as follows:

These free workshops – which follow on from workshops we held in June in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Nelson, and Christchurch – are aimed at helping educators to best assess Service sector vocational education ākonga/learners.
We will look at the complexities of post-assessment moderation, while sharing inspiring tips and tricks to bring the best out of your learners. We will provide you with an opportunity to ask those questions you’ve always wanted to ask.
These workshops will be a great opportunity to network with Ringa Hora kaimahi as well as your teaching peers. Attendance is open to any assessing education organisations, and they will be delivered free of charge.
For those who can’t attend, you can view our post-assessment moderation webinar on our resources page.
