Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council has been working with Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA) and the business events sector to develop new credentials that respond to contemporary needs for the business events sector.
The project has been underway since the review of the now expired conventions and incentives qualifications and associated unit standards in December 2023. There have been a range of meetings held since September 2024 to determine the needs of the sector, and it is anticipated that national consultation on a draft new qualification and related skill standards will occur in July – August 2025.
