Pacific Real Estate Network

Building a Pacific Real Estate Network in Aotearoa

There are approximately 1,300 Pacific workers in Real Estate and Property management roles, working across Aotearoa New Zealand. It is important for industry to support Pacific workers currently in the workforce to develop and grow into leadership and management positions.

Pacific Peoples bring deep cultural richness, strong community values, and a spirit of connection to everything they do. Yet in New Zealand’s real estate sector, they remain significantly underrepresented – making up just 3% of the workforce.

Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council in partnership with key Real Estate industry stakeholders are collaborating to help establish a national network that supports the needs of Pacific Professionals. A powerful step toward elevating the Pacific Workforce in Real Estate that enables the following:

  • Mentorship – support & uplift through shared knowledge, experience and career pathways.
  • Cultural Awareness – celebrate Pacific identity in an industry that shapes where and how our communities live.
  • Empowering Communities – skills development, addressing barriers, champion equity, income gaps & home ownership challenges.
  • Leadership – strengthen visibility where Pacific voices are heard across the industry.

The Pacific Real Estate Network is more than an initiative – it’s a movement. A movement to amplify Pacific voices, foster leadership, and create pathways to prosperity through real estate. By coming together, we are laying the foundation for a future where Pacific professionals are visible, valued, and thriving across the industry.
